Project: Englands Gate Hospitality Dwelling
Duration: 10 months
Client: Evelyn O’Neil
Architect: Richard Free Architects
This project involved the restoration of an old barn into 6 bedrooms and a kitchen area for the pub. The build involved stripping out the existing barn, new roof construction, restoration of the existing stone walls, new acoustic walling and floors, high quality joinery installations, bathroom and kitchen fit outs, electrical rewire, plumbing installations and decoration works.
The project was undertaken to an extremely high standard of workmanship and has received a number of glowing compliments from people who have stayed at the premises and from locals. The building works have restored a derelict run down building that was been left to ruin into a spectacular barn conversation that is now a thriving business.
