C J Bayliss (Hereford) Ltd were contracted to build a SIP (Structurally Insulated Panel) building that could be used as a co-location centre at Lady Hawkin’s School. The construction process included the erection of a SIP panel structure which resulted in an extremely well insulated and air tight structure. The SIP panels were then cladded with sustainable red cedar boarding and a sedam roof. The structure achieved an air tightness figure of 3.4 resulted in a very energy efficient building for the school.
