The Brief.
To provide the children with a safer route to and from the church, this pedestrian access was formed. The works involved excavation and laying riven slabs to suit the particular falls across the site, formation of the opening and piers in the existing brick wall and also ornate iron gate and fencing.
The works were carried out during term time so the safe keeping and welfare of the children was paramount. All deliveries were scheduled away from busy periods and temporary fencing erected to delineate the works and protect the site from unauthorised access.
