The Brief.
Set in the heart of Herefordshire lies this beautiful dwelling and curtailing buildings, all constructed in a traditional style with traditional materials such as hand-made clay roof tiles, rustic bricks and oak timber frames.
Internally the traditional theme continues with the use of oak for the staircase, lintels over the woodburner and other items of joinery which have been lovingly crafted into shape.
However, this dwelling is not without it’s mod-cons and environmental credentials, including an audio system throughout, an array of solar PV panels, rainwater harvesting tanks and underfloor heating powered by a ground-source heat pump.
