The Brief.
The project was to construct two semi-detached houses. These houses are constructed using the timber frame method with large amounts of insulation to retain the heat within the building.
Externally the building is clad with coloured timber boarding and a through colour render system. The advantage to a through colour render is the low maintenance as no painting is required. To the roof, cedar shingles have been used to provide a finish in keeping with the local aesthetics.
